Improve animations – add some vegetables!

Contributor: Eleanor Hannan @EHannan14

Idea: To help students improve their animation skills, bring a selection of vegetables into class and write down some emotions on slips of paper. Ask students to choose one of each and to draw the vegetable being that emotion. Encourage them to consider motion and sound. As in extension, get them to make short videos with their mobile devices, playing out the noises and movements that they drew.

Practitioners comments: “This worked well with students who were not used to creating animations and brought their presentations to life.”
