Introduce collaboration and digital literacy with Trello

Contributor: D. Theresa Nicholson @dawnitoes

Idea: Set up a Trello board to provide guidance on student projects. We have started using a Trello board to provide students with guidance on how to set up their WordPress.com E-Portfolios. We find that WordPress.com encourages students to be creative in their web designs and professional showcasing, and the Trello board encourages students to develop their digital literacy, collaborative and project management skills.

Practitioners comments: “This has turned a dull, paper-heavy assignment into a highly personalised piece of showcased work that encourages creativity, and promotes digital literacy. Our Trello board can be viewed here: example Trello board.”
